Microsoft Remote Desktop 8 Download Mac

I have been using remote desktop on my MAC for about 2 years, for a PC based program that I need for piece of work. Inside the last few months information technology has been crashing a lot and even deleted my program a few times recently. Is anyone else having these issues?

I try not to modify from MAC to a PC so I desire to get access to my files and programs I have admission to when I use a PC. I have some effect with RemoteApp and Desktop Connection, I can download the .rdp file on my MAC but information technology still just download the file fifty-fifty I have installed the Microsoft Remote Desktop and choosen to utilise it when open up the .rdp file. What do I do wrong? Its on a Windows Server 2012

Worked quite well until I updated this morning (Large Sur 11.6). Now will non connect... not even in the Beta version updated 3 days ago.

Fifty-fifty creating .rdp files on my PC and using the MRD app on my Mac to import the file results in no connection between the two devices. I just cannot fathom why this app refuses to work past manually entering the information or using the import function. If anyone knows what may be causing the trouble I'd appreciate knowing how to get around it.
